COMMONWEALTH GAMES Numeracy skills
This slide show contains the measurement skills.
- Please watch the attached demonstrations of how to use and calculate each skill.
- There is then a selection of links to practice tasks for you to have a go at on slide 10.
- Once you have then completed this, you are to complete the Applied Tasks on Slide 12
After you have completed this presentation I will upload the geometry skills with applied tasks.
You will then have a practice task using both measurement and geometry skills.
The assessment for this unit on the Commonwealth Games will be creating a scale diagram of the track and field stadium using basic and compound shapes with accurate measurements.
You may choose to do this using an online tool, a hand drawn diagram or a 3D model.
