Literacy Work Checklist!
Here is a checklist of all the literacy work that you should have completed so far and links to where this work is on the blog and the hand ins on the classroom. Please complete anything that you have not yet submitted or have received a Not Achieved for.
First priority is to have all the POETRY work completed. The rest should be done for homework or in spare time if you have completed all your other work.
Check the lists on the wall or your google classroom if you are not sure what you have or have not completed.

Braingym Poetry Reading Links for Speed Writing
Read the poems then choose one to write about.
You need to write about:
- What you think the poem is about
- Any language features you have noticed the poet has used e.g. rhyme, metaphor, simile, alliteration, onomatopoeia etc etc.
- How the poem made you feel
- How you can relate the poem to your own life or things you have learnt
- Why you think the poet wrote the poem
